HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL HIRED!
We are excited to announce our new high school Assistant Principal, Mrs. Adrienne Hurley-Hughes. Mrs. Hurley-Hughes will be joining the RA team to work with our 8th and 9th graders next year and will work to grow our high school to continue the mission and vision of Revolution Academy.
Adrienne Hurley-Hughes serves as an Assistant Principal with a passion for fostering academic excellence and positive school environments. She has been dedicated to student success in the public and private sectors for more than a decade in various roles: teacher, coach, school counselor, and administrator.
Beyond her administrative responsibilities, Adrienne is a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and Virginia Tech alumnus (Go Hokies!). She enjoys spending time being active with her family and attending sporting events.

We are extremely thankful to be in our new facility at 3800 Oak Ridge Road in Summerfield.
With its proximity to I-73 and NC-68, this location provides convenient access for many Guilford County residents.
Who are we?
Revolution Academy is a K-8 public charter school in Guilford County. We opened in 2020.
The Core Knowledge sequence anchors our challenging academic program that also includes Saxon math and Shurley English.
Our unique program offers:
- Uniforms
- Recess twice per day for K-5
- Cursive handwriting in 3rd - 8th grades
- Middle School Athletics
- Nationally-normed NWEA testing
- Weekly Art, Music, PE
- Enrichment elective that teaches keyboarding, etiquette, personal finance, and other useful skills
